The City, Inc. in a variety of roles and
initiatives to address community concerns.

What do you think of the Civil Rights Movement today?

"Well, we stopped fighting, we stopped pushing back.
When we stopped they started kicking back
and they are trying to push us back into the 50´s in terms
of reversing the laws and the gains that we made as a people.
We´ve got to reorganized ourselves and fight again."

Hope

"Hope is a light that is flickering from time to time
and it looks like it´s about to go out.
When we look at the ways of inhumanity to man and unfair treatment
of man in terms of race and hate. At some point, I believe
that hope is a large obstacle for us to get around.
It´s almost like they have wiped hope out of the life, eyes, and heart
of our people and we have to find a way to rekindle hope."
