Danny: We have got to take that chance. It has been proven that it has worked.

Danny: The Black Arts Movement?

Del: Yes

Danny: I think they all come together in one shape or form one feeds on the other.

Del: What do you think is the most important issue African Americans have to address today?

Danny: What they have to learn to understand is the politics. Until they start to understand the politics I don't think they will be moving too fast.

Del: What do you think of the Civil Rights Movement today?

Danny: All of our original leader have past away. The group that exist now have to attach themselves to the same movement and problems that the seniors worked on.

Del: Control

Danny: Really, they have to understand what control means and how you can effectively use it. It is not being used effectively.

Del: Dehumanize

Danny: What I think has happened amongst young folks is that they dehumanize themselves

Del: Stigma

Danny: We are always going to have stigma. It all depends on who's involved. That`s just the beast of the burden, really.

Del: Traumatized

Danny: I don`t think we should allow ourselves to be traumatized. Because, if we know where we are going and where we have been that should take care of that.

Del: Loss

Danny: We have lost quite a bit when it comes to the Civil Rights Movement, we've lost quite a few leaders who were able to steer the Movement in the right direction.

Del: Identity

Danny: Well, I know what I am, and who I am, and that's my identity.

Del: Survival

Danny: I wouldn't have survived if it weren't for some of the leaders to have passed on. Cecil Newman and Harry Davis who is still living are folks who steered me on the right path.

Del: Inspire

Danny: There are a lot of people to make me want do things- very positive things in the movement.

Del: Hope

Danny: If you don't have hope. You don't have anything.

Del: Closure

Danny: I don't think I will see that in my lifetime.
